I'm very interested in transsexual life and the well-being of transgender women. Just to cast a little light on my beliefs, here is a posting I made on a transgender-forum about the connection between straight guys and transsexual women. My posting was a reply to a guy who complained that he always ran into transsexual prostitutes and not "normal" transsexual women.
Here's my reply:
Hmmm, my man... I guess you may have a point.
How ever, to me at least (I can only speak for my self) my attraction to transsexual women - which may, indeed, have started out as a sexual curiousity - almost immediately "settled inside me" (once I tried it) and evolved into something so much more than that (not that there's anything wrong with a sexual attraction, though).
I fell in love with the transsexual MINDSET - the transsexual CONCEPT. To me it holds such a multi coloured bouquet of emotions, pain, joy, courage and stamina that it becomes a celebration of LIFE itself. I can find no more amazing way to a true expression of the self than through transsexuality - or transgenderism. It demands RESPECT!
I guess I've been blessed with good transsexual girlfriends, lovers, and merely friends - they never tried to get me for just "professional sex" (which is not my style, any ways). And of course I regret that some guys run into troubles with transsexual prostitutes - but I guess a lot of guys have similar problems with FEMALE prostitutes??? Maybe even some women have the same problems with male prostitutes... :-)
So all n all, I have found it equally easy to get connected to transsexual women as to genetic women - but of course, I live in Asia, and that DOES probably make a difference.
So why don't all you Western guys living in the SOOO BORING West (and trust me... it IS boring compared to Asia), pack your bags and go
east of Eden? Nah, just kidding...
But ACT! She won't just show up in front of your house, knocking at your door, and then you lived happily ever after...
Go for her! Find her! Adore her! And she might just take you to the moon...
