FAQS/Help
Dragoncastle provides a free service to the gay community, and we do our best to keep the site updated (often on a daily basis) with what is going on. We don’t charge you for access to any parts of the website, even though we have to pay for some software, and for a decent hosting service.
All we ask in return is that you treat us and other other members with respect. We are happy to answer any questions that are not covered here.

A) Any time! But the best weather is November-February on most of the mainland; December-February on the Andaman coast (Phuket, Phiphi, Krabi etc), and July-September around Samui. It gets very hot between March and May, and the rainy season starts to be felt from June with the most rain in September & October.
Q) Where are the best gay areas?
A) The main gay areas are in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket (Patong beach area), and Chiangmai. You can check out our listings of gay places for details. Of course, there are gays everywhere in Thailand!
Q) Do I need a visa for Thailand?
A) Yes and no. Many western, and ASEAN visitors can get a “visa waiver” stamp on arrival; if you want to stay longer than the allowed period you can apply in advance for a 60 days tourist visa. You can see the details here.
